The dowdy Daily Mirror gets all dressed up - but dare it show its face?
The Daily Mirror used to strike me as the dowdier member of a loud, glammed-up tabloid group that would turn heads in the newspaper industry. It was a perception that persisted in the digital world. A comparatively shy, prudish site was eclipsed by its brash, Saturday-night-on-the-town cousin, the Sun, while for your basic diet of celebrity tittle-tattle you would look no further than the local gossip, the Daily Mail.
